Recommended Reading

Military science is always evolving--in order to be as proficient as possible, Marine officers (and candidates) are highly encouraged to read as much as possible in order to be current in their field of choice. OSO College Park recommends the following titles for candidates as well as new lieutenants:

While it is not necessary to read all these titles, reading several from the aforementioned list will broaden your understanding of the Marines and your chosen profession. If possible, read one of the titles in a group in order to discuss the material with others.
